This morning the Toronto Maple Leafs placed Staffan Kronwall on re-entry waivers where he was quickly scooped up by the Washington Capitals to bolster there blue line.
In 42 games with the Marlies this year he has 7 goals and 18 assists with a plus 1 rating.
