It seems that Brian Burke has gotten sick of peddling around the league looking for a trade as he has placed D Mathieu Schneider on waivers.
Teams have till noon Thursday to claim him. This clears the 5.75 million (Or McCabe money) off the books it is widely speculated that the Ducks made this move to clear the space to sign longtime Duck Teemu Selanne.
