Once again the Toronto Maple Leafs could not hold onto a lead after a crosschecking call on John Mitchell Paul Gaustad tied the game 45 seconds after Tomas Vanek made it 2 -1.
Then in OT it was all over as Tomas Vanek ripped the shot from the point putting the puck over Justin Pogges shoulder.
